SteamRocket's I am Chace Project Launches
SteamRocket, a leading educational non-profit organization, is thrilled to unveil the I am Chace Project, an ambitious fundraising campaign aimed at realizing a groundbreaking mobile makerspace in the Coachella Valley. Inspired by their participation in this year's Desert Fast Pitch, where SteamRocket did not make the finals, this project exemplifies the organization's unwavering dedication to bringing innovative educational opportunities to the community.
The I am Chace Project signifies a significant step forward for SteamRocket, symbolizing their commitment to enhancing access to free or low-cost educational classes, workshops, and enriching experiences in the Coachella Valley. This pioneering initiative seeks to bridge the educational gap and empower children in the region, encompassing Desert Hot Springs to Mecca, with the tools they need to thrive in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) fields.
"This project was born out of our goal at this year's Desert Fast Pitch, where we didn't make it to the finals but gained invaluable insights and determination to make a lasting impact on our community," said Justin Decker, co-founder of SteamRocket. "We are dedicated to achieving the I am Chace Project, ensuring that every child in the Coachella Valley has access to innovative learning experiences that will shape their future."
The mobile makerspace, at the heart of the "I am Chace Project," will be a hub of creativity and discovery, providing children with the opportunity to explore and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. SteamRocket aims to create a nurturing environment where youth can discover and channel their interests and passions, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
SteamRocket extends an invitation to the community, local businesses, and philanthropic organizations to join hands in supporting this transformative initiative. Contributions made through donations and sponsorships will directly impact the youth, fostering a culture of innovation and lifelong learning.
