Learning Lab is Coming to Indio Library!
We are thrilled to announce that SteamRocket's Learning Lab is making a big return to Indio Library! Starting this fall, our workshops will be packed with engaging STEAM workshops designed to spark young learners' imaginations. We can't wait to kick off the fun with Indio Library's Fall Festival on October 26, 2024, from 3pm to 5pm, where we can bring hands-on activities to the celebration.

Get ready to create festive LED-lit turkeys that will brighten up your Thanksgiving! Open to kids 5 and up.
Shake Lab: Earthquake Simulator
January 11 at 10:30am
Learn about earthquake safety and test your building skills by creating a tower that can withstand the shakes of our earthquake simulator. Open to kids 5 and up.
The Great Paper Plane Challenge
January 11 at 10:30am
Design, build, and fly your own paper planes! We have over a dozen patterns to choose from and three obstacle courses to put your planes to the test. Get ready to measure speed, distance, and tricks!
Dash and Clash: HexBug Raceway
February 8 at 10:30 am
Build an epic race track and see if your HexBug racer has what it takes to reach the finish line!
Ping-Pong Pick-Up Challenge
March 15 at 10:30am
Get creative with building tools and materials as you design the ultimate picker-upper to scoop up as many ping-pong balls as possible.
